Miami based Director of Photography, cameraman Tom Brunstetter has earned local, national Emmy and Addy awards, for his creative Direction and Cinematography.
Tom 's professional experience spans over decades, having worked as a video crew on national documentaries, commercials, network and cable television series, webisodes, feature film and marketing / sales projects.
Flexible, collaborative, sensitive to the clients needs with good people skills - he's a DP who can think outside of the box when called for. He is technically adept, allways pushing the limits and embracing new technologies and techniques. Specialties: 3-axis gimbal stabilizers, slow-motion / time lapse, underwater, helicopter UAV cinematography.
His freelance credits include DOP work for the television series A&E Biography, and Lifetime Channel’s “Intimate Portrait” and the acclaimed VH-1 program “Behind the Music”.
Brunstetter’s craft has taken him on journeys documenting exotic and remote locations such as the Galapagos Islands, the South Pacific Islands to film the National Geography's show “Tahiti by Paul Gauguin” as well as a documentaries in the snow packed mountains of Spain for Discovery Channel .
Closer to home he has documented the life of Chief Osceola, a Florida Seminole Indian, for the program entitled “Osceola’s Journey “ for National PBS.
His travels also have taken him to Africa to film a documentaries on the AIDS epidemic. Tom has profiled Jewish holocaust survivors, accompanying them to Polish and German death camps for Steven Speilberg's Shoah Foundation and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum’s permanent collection and Jewish Federation of Miami.
In addition, he has lensed numerous commercial, marketing and sales spots for such notable Fortune 500 clients as Johnson & Johnson, Mercedes-Benz, American Express and Home Depot to name a few.
